01.01.2013: SMILE =)

The title may sound like any other post around, but i just have this something in my mind that i would like to scribble down and keep it in my blog. Be it a reminder for myself, or as a encouragement for my future undertakings...

First day of 2013 started with  count down after a bbq party with my sis and her friends. Usually with my friends in Jogja, but this year, since i have hols, it's in Bandung! ^^ The fireworks that filled the sky surrounding me was simply beautiful! =) From near and big firework to far and small ones, it's like patches of flower blooming in the sky...

Morning started with church. Start your new year by thanking God for everything He's given you and the more blessings to come in your way...

Of course, the next activity is...Shopping! Wahahaha!

First thing first, fill our energy bag with food.. brunch at Djoeroe Masak was simply delicious.

BIP, our destination. Is it the age kicking in or just still sleepy, we walked for while and i already felt tired. LOL. anyhow, we stopped, had a drink and then continue our "battle". =)

Battle will not be won until  we  i bought something i like. =P
True enough, i bought quite a few items. ^_^

At the end of the day, we were both exhausted...

So, the best way to end the day is to relax our legs...foot reflexology! Yeah!

Enough of my first day activities...

Throughout the whole day, i have this thought that come into my mind again. Again, it means that this thoughts had came across my mind before this.

First day of new year, a public holidays for most people, but also a day to work and earn for a lot of other people. Buses, shopping malls, restaurants and etc, the workers are still working on new year day. One more, hospitals! Yes, the doctors, nurses, cleaners, medical students on duty, they are working.
There are so many people out there working so that everything is still on the wheel.
So many occupations.

One main thing i learned from this is that all occupations are equal. Be it a cleaner, a driver or a doctor or prime minister. You are serving people around you. You are giving yourself and time to serve others. Strangers, or someone you know.
The only difference is the payment received. And the respect you gained, at times.

Hence, i always make myself realized this one thing: respect others for what they doing.

A simple SMILE would do it.

SMILE, i will always put you on and bring you around.
May it brings some comfort to people around me.

Happy New Year 2013!
xoxo
