Open Up Your Heart

Everybody likes it and I saw the comment form a friend: honesty is the best policy. True enough, no doubt at the statement at all. Indeed, how many of us know the correct path and way to honesty? Is honesty part of our lives? Is honesty your best friend so far? Or is honesty in and out of your life, sometimes there, sometimes not there?
I ponder on my own statement and wonder I wrote that at first. I’ve always be the girl who spills her heart out from her act and words. Is that good? Not really. Why? Simple answer: cause sometimes I talked too fast without interpreting what I can or cannot say, as words can hurt others a lot… I knew I hurt a lot of my friends and even my family before with my words and stubbornness. I’m sorry. I want to change! I do not want to be the old me. I want to grow! I want to love! I want to give! I want to help others! I want to learn to be humble! So many I want…. Hmmph… what’s the easiest pathway to reach my goals? Humans love shortcuts… aiyo! In God, there’s no other way than asking Him to guide you through. Actually being open and transparent to family and friends is not hard, neither simple. God can see into our hearts and thoughts without us saying a single word or action. We are transparent in God’s eyes. You and I can’t hide anything from Him. So, why do you want to live a life that’s closed and hidden to others? Though not all the things in our lives we can share with others, but I’m sure you can have certain parts of your burden and worries to be shared with your family or friends. God never created us to be lonely and go through every challenge on our own. He gives us family. He gives us friends. He gives us angels. He gives us Holy Spirit. On top of that, He gave us Himself.
Why do you think God give us mouth, ears, eyes, and all the senses? Think about it. You listen, you see, you interpret, then you voice out your opinion, your thoughts, you act.
To live a life full of love and happiness is easy actually. It’s your choice. Do not ever think that there is something in your life that cannot be shared with others. Do not ever be ashamed of your problem(s). Go over it and you shall see how beautiful life is…
It’s no coincidence that we are one family and met others and become friends. It’s our fate. It’s His plan. It’s our chance to grab and value the relationship.
